Welcome

I would like to welcome our new BaseCamp3030 Coordinator Mrs Karen Oliver She will bring her passion for people, knowledge and skills to help BaseCamp3030 going forward.

I needed to stop due to my ill health but I am sure Karen will do an excellent job in running BaseCamp3030. Please support Karen as she learns this new position.

Leaving!!

It is with great sadness that Jo Pace is leaving us. Jo is leaving due to personal reasons. She has been wonderful being the Activity Coordinator. She has been fantastic with the clients, families and the team who come out on the camps.

I wish her and the family the very best in the future.

Thank you to Wyndham Patchworkers

A big thank you to Wyndham Patchworkers for a beautiful quilt kindly made and donated to our Trivia night.

In 2003, a community forum was held in Werribee to investigate the need for local, overnight, respite services in the City of Wyndham.

The response & the urgent need was overwhelming.

Many families were at breaking point caring 24/7 for their child with a disability.

Families needed a break then... they still need a break now!

The Solution

A great facility, together with professional staff & our pool of trained & working with children checked volunteers, to be used as a base for flexible respite services by the many groups and people with respite needs.

Situated in a prime location within the community close to the Aquatic Centre, the Entertainment Centre, the Community Youth Centre, Werribee Plaza, the Library, local schools and other facilities.

Volunteers working with us have been assisting respite care services for families with children with special needs for more than 8 years.
